Haha yea man. That guy had a custom harness put together out of the supra one and taco one so at everything works like stock...sad part is it cost $1200!!!!

thats just the harness??? fuck that we could do it for free/cheap man wiring is my thing i wired in my 7mge into my 94 no problem and im gonna be wiring in my budies 5vze into his 90 4runner. if you do it i got you

Anyone ever run any general tires. Someone told me their sidewalls are twice as thick as my KM2's. Never heard that.

 

Just get some MT/R's haha. Kevlar sidewalls.

Yep 1200 for the harness..bit if you can do it ill be hitting you up when the day comes. Can't believe more people haven't done it now that I know how easy it can be..only need custom motor mounts and redo the t case mount..

My biggest issue ill personally have is fitting an inter cooler due to my plate bumper.

I think they are stiff. Not sure they are that thick. Jon's barely flexed though in Moab.

Kevlar or it..have read of 3-4 people tearing them on here and TTORA.

 

On the older MT/R's the kevlar would tear away from the rubber on the tire, but I think they have fixed that issue since.

Agreed. MTRs look sweet and are cheaper then KM2s..but I think ill stick with them. Hell by the time I get new tires might be km3 haha

Me too man..same position. Ats would be nice as they don't cost as much ad wider contact tread pattern. But I don't think they would preform as well as the km2s. Plus km2s look bad ass I think.

 

I would love a set of BFG AT for the summer, a designated MT on steelies for wheeling and a nice set of winters

Agreed i KM2s do look bad ass. And i know they kick ass as well but im still going with the MTR this round and then i will have run them both and the pair i buy after that will determin what i like best. As far as side wall blow outs goes i blame 80% of that on the driver tires with more side wall tread tend to catch and punture more yes thats true but at the same time my pro comp spare tire (bought used) has a patched tare in the side wall the guy i bought them from bought it like that and he never had and issue with side walls and neither have i. Blaming it on the drive cuz i wheel the shit outa my truck but havent had side wall issues ever.

 

I think km2's look alright. My top favorites for looks is MTZ, Nokian Vativa, KM2, MTR, Duratrac,...

 

i really like my cooper discovery st maxxs'.. they are e rated but the do have kevlar.. there quiet as hell in the road even going freeway speeds and there supposed to be able to air down to at least 15 lbs. they kicked the shit out of Marks ta ko's on that last wheeling trip i went on ...sorry mark. you were sliding all the hell over the place... no offense bro..

but they are my first set of off road tires so i have absolutely no evidence to back this up other than what I know from my st maxxs'
