Connecticut school shooting 12/14/12

Too bad the guy is dead now, that's sick and so close to Christmas. Why? This makes no sense. Thoughts and prayers out to the families.

Why oh why would he decide to shoot an entire classroom full of elementary children??? Seriously, if you have a problem and can't take it anymore then take yourself out of the game, but leave everyone else alone. This event is one of the most cowardly acts I have ever heard in my entire life.

i will never understand the mindset someone has to decided that yes, this is the only option left is to obviously mow down an elementary school full of kids. yes, this will make everything all better, and people will understand why i had to do it. what in the hell?????????? this stuff makes me sick, i just can't comprehend the mentality of some people in society.

 

Our governor just spoke at a press release, no details on the shooter

I hate seeing news where they have to kill others before taking their own or what so ever. Leave all the Innocent alone and just wipe yourself out.
So sad and so much shooting going on just couple of days ago there was that mall shooting and now this.

 

Most of the victims were in ONE classroom..... My god

They won't release that information until they run warrants on the home of the shooter, and follow any other leads on information about him.

 

This tragedy is in all likelihood going to defy any logical explanation, with the shooter dead it only leaves speculation as to his motives and disposition. It is NOT a gun issue, it is very obvious to me that this is really a mental health issue. Often times there are warning signs when an individual is going off the rails, perhaps the signs where there and his family didn't pick up on it. Maybe the needed resource was not there in terms of mental health counseling. If the shooter stated that he was intending to hurt someone then he could have been involuntarily commited by a doctor. That none of this took place, or perhaps his family tried and failed, that is the biggest tragedy in all this. This in all likelihood, could have been prevented.

 

There are 20 parents who were just told that their children are dead.

this seriously breaks my heart. effing coward. absolutely disgusting.
i can't help but imagine my little sister being in that position.
this quote right here got me in tears "She did tell me about a little boy that was in a police officer’s arms, bleeding. I don’t know if she gets it."
i couldn't imagine how hard that was for first responders. God bless the families. every single one are in my thoughts and prayers.

I can't wait to get home and hug my kids. I was all teared up seeing this shit. I'm at a loss for words also.
