Connecticut school shooting 12/14/12

I don't have any kids of my own, but my girlfriend runs a preschool out of our house. She has been teaching little ones for almost 10 years, and we have both become very close to many of the families she works with. Kids are so innocent and naive to the world, just little sponges soaking it all in.

I just imagine all those special little lives being taken, it's fucked. This is very emotional...and we're supposed to start our Christmas Party in my office right now...I can't put on a fake happy face. I just want to go home and hug my family.

Believe it! It's happening "WAY" too often anymore, not just occasionally.
Somethings wrong, too many "Pathetic losers" out there that will do something like this.
A school, full of young kids, you gotta be kidding! WHY!!
Seems like most of these "WACKOS" are fully capable of picking "SOFT" targets!
My heart goes out to all the parents and kids involved in this tragedy!

 

You may need some counselling dude..... your like all the people on facebook who freak out and act as if they're the only ones who get news.

 

I hope this sick fucker rots in hell. Why would you do that to anybody? Especially a school full of children around this time of year. It makes me sick to my stomach.

I don't get it.. CHILDREN.. WTF!?!? Not that when its okay when someone goes on a rampage murdering adults, but how fucked up in the head do you have to be to kill innocent children? It's a shame the gunman is dead, the guilt of murdering children eating away at him while he spends his life in jail probably would have been worse.

How many parents are going to be burying their children instead of watching them open christmas presents? It just sickens me.

 

Just heard on CNN that the shooters mother was a teacher at the school and was also killed. Thoughts and Prayers go out to all those involved

 

I thought of the responders. I COULD NOT do it. I helped rescue people from a carwreck one time and a 3 year old little girl was involved. I cried and cried . I ripped the jammed door off (don't know how) to get her out of the mangled wreckage.

To respond to a classroom full of little kids is unimaginable to me. I would be forever changed and traumitized. I couldn't do it.

So he killed his father in NJ, killed his mom in CT, then went to the school...there's a special place in hell for people like him

 

Brings tears to my eyes... I just can't get over the fact that he took innocent little children lives.

 

If you are a parent who has kids in school, check what type of security procedures your school has in place. Can you just walk into the school, or are you held in an area without access until you get an escort???. Are the playground gates locked during school hours??? Do teachers/staff have hand held radios and phones available to them???. Is there a panic alarm system installed????. Is there a crisis/evacuation plan in place????

Ask questions and demand answers from your school administrators.

If this nut wanted to kill people, we could probably not stop him, but we sure could make it more difficult.

 

That facebook page is wrong. That kid is sending messages saying "it wasn't me" "You have the wrong page" and stuff like that.

 

My daughters school last week had some fuckface try to abduct an 8 year old from the outside hallway. Thank God above he didn't succeed. Police better find him before us parents do. I will go to jail hurting a motherfucker like that.

I just sent an email off asking these exact questions. Schools need more security.

I'll be damned if I have to go thru something this horrifying. I feel bad for my kiddos because how is it going to be in ten years from now?


I went thru this shit with the Thurston shooting with Kip Kinkel. I knew his parents very well. My little brother was in that caffeteria that day. I will never forget driving by the school as it happened and me saying "WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON" . Kids running out the school everywhere. Then I did a U-turn after hearing on the radio. Trying to find my lil bro in the chaos was utter horror.
