Are they going to Heim the uppers as i reccomended them to? If so might as well solid mount the lowers. Pretty simple anyways.

The part numbers I got from Camburg when I was doing mine were Low Carbon Race w/ Chrome Plated Alloy ball.

I know they have other spherical bearings that have chromoly parts etc but they do also have low carbon/mild steel setups as well.

Well the Bearings on their (Aurora) Site are just a list of Commerical Spherical Bearings.

They have an assortment of materials and material combinations for them. Different liners, processes as well. It's a shame stil that no one makes a stainless steel 1.25" set. I inquired about it and it would've been $900 ea. minimum order of 20:rolleyes:

    :p

Yeah,it wouldn't matter that much if I didn't live in the salt belt. The lowers are Stainless at least now, and I just try to keep the uppers clean/dry as good as I can.

Have thought about remaking the uppers with 1" or 1.5" Uniball Cups that way I could run stainless uppers too, but don't really have the time.

Nothing yet. I dont plan on taking it out till i have motor mount gussets and shock tower gussets. The uppers will be hiemed so the cam tabs will be tossed and solid mounts will be welded on. Just debating if i want lsk or sick nick to do all the gusset work. Lsk has been getting CRAZY busy lately...

Mind as well have them (LSK) do it while they have everything off the truck already. Otherwise you're going to have to pay labour to remove the parts etc, which is just a waste of money:cool:

The HF ram for the JD2 is too cheap and nice to have, forget pulling on the handle, I'll never go back to that. My hat is off to you and your manual bending technique sir.

What part number did they give you? I am not at a computer so I'm not 100% sure but I think some of the Camburg uniballs are the hcom series and Aurora does make a 1.25" and its alloy and ptfe. See if all the specs match the one they gave you
