[IMG]personally I like Buck shot. I agree that a slug for home defense is not a good choice. Things happen fast and people dont aim they just point and shoot. This plus the pass thru possibility are two large negatives for the slug.

yeah .22’s are super cheap to shoot.
    i have a Rossi triple threat or something. has a 243, 20G and a .22. it’s a break action so it’s a single shot.

Alex, read some reviews before you go look at that Rossi combo. Generally, they are less than glowing, most of them being along the lines of, it's a cheap gun and you get what you pay for.

I was just on their website and Rossi makes a bunch of those interchangable barrel combos. There are several options to choose from, one even looks like a 50 cal black powder barrel.

When I took the safety class in mass . The statey said you can legally carry in a bar but he wouldn't reccomend it .

Ill find the law later and post it for you .

They said the same thing when I took it. It's legal if you're not drinking and the place allows it but if you are planning on having a drink, the instructor STRONGLY recommended not carrying. He said it's a gray area that will eventually get clarified once someone finally gets caught and tried. You can't carry and be under the influence but there aren't any set BAC levels for carrying if I recall correctly which is why it's a gray area.

Yes as long as they don't have a posted sign saying no guns etc . You can carry but not a great idea . Personally I would never because if I'm at a bar I'm getting drunk :)

I could manage it, but I am the exception that proves the rule. Most often I am in a bar to shoot....my darts that is..

Time for UCAs, any pointers? I bought new UCA bolts from toyota, figured it might be easier to cut them.

Unbolt them. Push the head out till you have enough room to get your blade in there then cut. Push the bolt out towards the direction of the bolt head you just cut off. Put new bolt in backwards. Done! :D

Alright im cutting them, little concerned about the AC lines or whatever those are. I cant really get into my engine bay because there isnt enough room to open my hood all the way in the garage haha. Im pretty confident with a sawzall but i have a grinder if that doesnt do the trick, thanks again for the help.

Why should i push the bolt out in the direction of the bolt head? Seems like it would be easier to push the bolt out the other direction, or pull it rather. Do you think i will have to tap it all the way out with a long center punch or something? Maybe i should just go for it and see how it goes
