i guess it's personal prefrance cuz i have the MTZ and it's alright and performs like the KO off road. never buying that tire again.

 

You guys ever thought about the Hankook RT03 MT?? I've heard REALLY good reviews on that tire! Apparently there was a test for MT tires (so it included the MT-R, Duratrac, KM2, Toyo MT, Grabber, and a bunch others that I'm forgetting) that tested off-road performance on dirt, mud, and snow and also loudness and smoothness on highway. The RT03 came out on top, and they didn't believe the results, so they ran the test again and it cameout on top again!!! Now that's saying something about that tire!!!

I have. But I also noticed a lot of more or less ..."normal" over landers, for lack of a better term, don't do some more.."hardcore" trails..again lack of a better terms here. But not to say a lot of those guys don't do some crazy shit cause there always are. But I just feel the are important for me, especially not being locked yet, to keep good traction. If I could afford to try out tires more I would. But I think I found my tires for me love them and won't go back for now.

Although it would be nice to have some ATs for just DDing.

Yes that's a good point too. Sme drivers aren't as good but I still don't want to chance it. I can't afford that not yet. S I'm sticking with tried and true..plus km2s side walls flex better then anything I've seen yet.

My dad has those. Doesn't wheel a ton but they do pretty good. Not super loud either. I'd take them I think over ATs if I could. My only beef with them is eh don't seem to last super long..even on our trucks..

 

I looked at them..just not aggressive enough I think. They are kinda more like the durtarcs IMO. like an aggressive at more then a mt

The MTZs look cool..but they are a bad cheap tire haha

NOT aggressive enough? Are you thinking of the RF10?? Because that's Hankooks AT tire.

 

I haven't heard any bad things about the mtz. But I heard they flex very well, good wear, excellent traction and they look really sick. Almost all the ct4wd guys run that tire

They are a lot cheaper than KM2's size for size.

 

That would be bad ass..if. Was there(still not sure if I will or not) I would take you up on that for sure. Jon like them I think more then his old km2s which he sold to me but they were 33s and me is on different gears..so it would be interesting.

Yeah. Just looking at the pics they looks like a really deep treaded AT, but not aggressive like our KM2's.
