I hope you don't mean respect for the "guy" who just murdered a bunch of kids and teachers. If his mental disorder was that far advanced, he should not have had access to weapons of ANY kind, or a bullet proof vest, or all the tactical gear they said he was wearing. The biggest question is, didn't anyone know he had all this stuff? Why was he not supervised? Where did he get the weapons? I'm sure it will all unfold. But as far as respect for the deceased....Only to all those innocent children and teachers. Him... none.

That's what we are wondering. Where and how did he get these weapons? If he was that mentally messed up then he needed a babysitter.

We have friends with a son who has Aspergers. He's a great great kid.

Whatever this Adam kid was doing or whatever problem he had was more than that. HOW and WHO could kill little kids?:mad:

    I'm glad he killed himself.

I heard another report that they had a hard time identifying the body they found (thought to be his mother) in his moms house. What the hell did he do to her?
EDIT: they just said she was shot in the face!!!!!

    Unreal.

WTF seriously dude. Your going to compare a degenerative disease like AH to this crazy mother fucker? If shit was so bad for him then just shoot yourself and save everyone else the hassle of dealing with your "problems" dont take 20 little children with you. He gets NO compassion from me what so ever.

As stated earlier, if he had all these "problems" then where was his fucking family "helping" him and why did he have weapons.

I am probably one of the biggest anti gun control advocates in here, but that guy should NOT have had access to any. All he did is fuck shit up for the rest of us that have a healthy respect for guns and dont use them for illegal shit.

Take your compassion for this asshat and GTFO.

Since comparing someone with Alzheimer's forgetting relatives names is the same as murdering small children. Let's stop focusing on what adjective's are correct or not correct and let's focus on the fact that innocent defenseless children were taken away. I'm sure if you lost a kid in this tragedy you wouldn't be interested in worrying about the suspect being misclassified and that he was sick therefore couldn't help the fact he just shot your child in an elementary school.

I understand where you are coming from but your example is far from the same as going to a school and shooting and killing 26 people. If his syndrome or disorder was so bad that we should blame his actions on it, he shouldn't have been left alone to acquire weapons, a bullet proof vest and go to the school. And autism doesn't seem like a reasonable explanation for his actions, especially if it was Aspergers which is the highest functioning form of autism.

...and yes, I know you aren't defending the shooter. I'm just throwing my opinion out there.

Like I said before, I agree on the weapons comment .. no way should someone with any incapacity be able to access those things.

And for all the people that think banning guns would solve problems like this shooting in CT.

Tell that to the parents of the 22 children and 1 85 year old woman in China that got stabbed today. I bet they all feel peaches about no guns.

Everyone needs to calm down and stop pointing fingers and yelling at each other. This is a time for people to come together, not splinter apart. Clearly he had issues. Clearly he is a sick fuck. But what's done is done, lets just keep the families in our thoughts and stop arguing over something so stupid as this.

:( I don't know how I missed this today. So sad, my thoughts and prayers to all the victims family's. I just don't get why it always has to be innocent kids who are the victims.

I just don't understand what could ever make a person EVER think that it is okay to shoot children. Its almost a shame that he had to kill himself so soon because now we may never know what made him think that this was a good idea.

WOW.......the responders have all gotten crisis counseling because of what they saw today.

Like I said - so much love to those officers, paramedics, firefighters, etc. for what you all do all over the world.

I could not do it!!! And this type of situation is exactly why I couldn't. :(

You are trying to justify his slaying of innocents. Or so it seems. Yes, he has/had a disorder, no it does not warrant the taking of innocent lives. If family/friends knew of his mental deficiencies and/or disorders, why did he have access to this kind of equipment?

In context, "My dog hates strangers and does not take commands, nor can I predict how he is going to act towards any outside influences. So I am going to just let him off his leash in the street and hope for the best." I think you hear me cluckin'.

I absolutely agree. If the deficiency was so bad that it contributed to an action like this, there should have been much more attention paid to this person so they couldn't do harmful things.

Just like I would assume a loose uncontrolled dog attacking someone would result in some questioning of the owners

EDIT: Note the 'if' statement. I was simply trying to bring to light that this person may have been afflicted by other things. Of course it's mostly unverified hear-say right now.

I can hardly even think or talk because I'm so mad at this. I would like to give my opinion on why we are seeing more and more of these monsters cowardly kill innocent people. I think I would piss off so many people here if I did. People do not value life anymore and so they think it's expendable.

My thoughts and prayers go out to those remaining that have lost their loved ones and have been injured. I'm not worried about those that are gone. God has met them and will give them comfort until the day comes when they are reunited with each other.

    It's all very sad.
