I am the same way I have two sets of 265/70/17 I keep thinking about jumping to 285's but I can't bring myself to chop my cab mount. Plus I still get good gas mileage but I think on one set of wheels I may try either 255's or 275's next time.

How much did you have to trim to fit your 285's?

Do you have any rubbing without trimming?

As stated before, no rubbing. I have tried to see If I can make it rub (full lock reverse and forward) and it doesnt. I have flexed it on some curbs, rocks and other stuff and they get close. For driving on the street, I will have no problems. If I go out and wheel, I am sure I can find some spots it will rub, but I dont think I will rip anything off.

Awesome looking truck man. I just ordered this same lift but with the 2" AAL instead. Are you running stock UCA's? If so, how close is your alignment to stock?

    Eibachs and Billy's set @ .85 and .25 driver side spacer with stock UCA's, 2" AAL. 265/75R16 Toyo MT's
Measurements: 24.25 front and 25.25 rear
I've been reading some of the other measurements and this seems high since I don't have a top plate spacer.
    What do you guys think?

Eibach coils and the rear TSB leafs. I've had this almost lift for 2 1/2 years and I just upgraded the wheels and tires.

This is an Eibach spring thread but somebody might chime in. There are plenty of pics of that setup on this site if you do some searching.

    Before I added eibachs

5100's @1.75 w/tsb pack. Not sure when Toyota started doing it but the coils on my 2011 were side specific to compensate for the "taco lean" so no 1/4" spacer was needed.

I installed the .25 lean spacer on mine and it looks to sit level, so I'd say get it

What size are those tires? I'm trying to decide what size to get when my MT's wear out

Thank you for the compliments. The tires are pizza cutters, 255/85/16. No rubbing. I started to trim the right side mud flap but a caster alignment pulled the wheel forward away from mud flap & the improper alignment was why it was rubbing on only one side.

Lean is a bit more common when using aftermarket springs versus stock.

There is a lean even with factory when you have only a driver and a full tank, it is just not as apparent as aftermarket which have the same spec spring for left and right side.

No new changes here, all factory second gens were springs are tagged for driver and pass side.

I had no lean on the front when I had just 5100's w/stock coils, atleast to the naked eye. The rear was a different story due obviously to the fuel tank. When I was placing my order for Eibachs and 1/2" spacers Toytec asked if I wanted the 1/4" spacer for the "taco lean" I told them I didnt have any lean. That's when I was informed that Toyota had adressed the issue with side specific coils and that's why I hadn't experience it with 5100's w/stock coils. Toytec could have been feeding me a line.
