Does anyone think that its sick to have these reporters asking them kids to recall what happened and walk us through their experience, I hate some reporters that dont think about their impact.

All these shootings happen at quite little schools. Heck I would think inner cities would have more of an issue.

    Too many to list now.
The sad part is is that they do that because that's what the majority of the people want to see. They wouldn't make tabloids and things if no one wanted to read them. Like it or not, that's the state of the union.

News just said he had 3 guns, Glock, Sig and an AR-15. Only the handguns were used. The mom purchased all 3 weapons. Dont know if they were hers or if she bought them for the dbag. I think they said the father lived in NJ with the brother.

I just don't understand this country anymore.

ive been thinking about too, people start getting crazy thinking its going to happen and they dont care what the consequences are. Whether its true or not for this situation, im sure some people will do something stupid because of it.

It is never really mentioned in the Mainstream News, but most of these shooters are on some form of anti depressant. Some of the side effects of these drugs are suicidal thoughts, a disconnect from reality and mania. It is my belief this is the reason military suicides are so high too. There are so many in this country on these drugs and we wonder why society is so fucked up.

Didn't they use to have "institutions" everywhere for the mentally sick? Now it seems they just medicate them and hope for the best.

Side note, theres a dude that lives in our apartment that has a disorder. He just walks around all day, stares at people. My wife was in her car, he just stared at her for like 5 mins. SHe had to call me to walk her in. We do it every time she gets home at night now. Talked to the management they said nothing they can do. Not saying he's gonna crack, but defiently a freaky lookin dude.

Nothing is ultimately going to change. This country is too far gone to the point where so many people just accept this is a part of life. Everyone is quick to say why this solution or that solution won't work, but has no better alternative than to arm everyone to the teeth. "We need more police in schools"......"nope that won't work people will just kill more people at malls and movie theaters." "Perhaps we need to look at stricter gun control"........."nope that just means the law abiding citizen will have a tougher route to get guns and the criminals will still get them." I mean seriously, this is where we're at, a society where so many think "if only one of those teachers were armed this could have been prevented." That's seriously where we are at? Lets not look at possible solutions to at least try to curb gun violence, lets just accept that people are going to kill each other not change that and just give everyone else guns so they can shoot people back? That's all we have?

I'm not by any means anti-guns, either. Some incidents won't be avoided and if someone really wants to kill they could find other means. Something has to change though. No one wants to ever start the discussion though. It's the same tune every time. "This isn't the right time to talk about it, lets worry about the mourning process." Then time goes by and everyone forgets. Til the next tragedy. Again, it's "too soon to have a discussion." Frankly, I don't even know that I ever even want kids at this point. Not in a society that accepts this as the norm and just wants every person to feel required to carry a gun because some nut job may shoot you at some random place because people don't want to have a conversation about trying to prevent some of these things.

I really have nothing to add but not only did I break down and cry at work today, I was visibly shaken. I have a 15 month old daughter and this just really hit home. Nothing but prayers and thoughts going up for the families. I can't imagine what they are going through tonight.
