HARDER. You or I likely wouldn't accomplish what terrorists training for years did. There's a reason that doesn't happen every couple months the way mass shootings tend to.

How does placing a load of responsibility on teachers cause them to become child predators? Might want to rethink that viewpoint.


Teachers in our country are underpaid, undervalued, and often given the insurmountable task of teaching children you come from homes that are so fucked up it's a wonder how and why they continue to teach.

I think more so fame than spreading anger. They know that they will make the news and movie even a movie or something. Went down in history. If he just committed suicide, no one outside of Connecticut would have heard about it. Not satisfying for a killer. If the 4chan post was from him and real, that's kind of proof that he knew what he was doing and trying to gain some fame.

True because of individual freedom. The person can choose if they want help or not until they do something crazy and are declared insane. A person with autism is not necessarily crazy in a mass shooter sense. Yes he has mental disabilities but there are thousands of people with autism or other mental illness not doing these things. It's pretty hard to say he needs locked up if he wasn't doing crazy things before this.

The point is that "Shooting" has little to do with it. If they didn't have guns or access to guns then these morons would blow people up or stab them.

 

I sit down and turn on discovery channel, first thing I see is a guy with a rifle and assault rifle in his house. Amish mafia. Exactly the kind of shit people watch and get ideas about how to take out other people.

I did not see info on that stat. The only acts we can take to truly work to solve things like this (although never completely) is to address mental health issues.

 

Just for the record:
An assault rifle is a selectable fire (fully automatic) rifle that is NOT legal in the US outside of the military or VERY few licensees. Also the term "assault weapon" is a subjective made up term that really means nothing but scary looking semi-automatic rifle. What you are referring to is just a semi-automatic rifle.
