Changed my oil, air filter, messed around with intake piping, checked some fluids.

 

Plasi-dipped the front rims, all four hub caps and sanded the rear wheels for finishing it up tomorrow, & painted the Toyota logo in grill bright red along with the smaller ones on the hub caps.

Tacoma Hovercraft

 

Finished installing my ********* subwoofer enclosure. Started working on a custom mount for my M&P 9MM and 2 spare magazines in my center console.

 

LOVE the hovermod!

Should do a build thread and ask the mods to sticky it!

 

I thought about a hover conversion, but it's a little too pricey for me at $39,999.95.

 

Noticed I was blinding drivers of small cars when I was behind them at stop lights. Adjusted my healights down today. About to take a test drive.

 

Did an oil change, I hit 150,000miles yesterday! Also found a leaking cv boot while I was under the truck greasing it. Time for the ECGS bushing and new shafts! C'mon Christmas cash!

did the hover mod to an F150 once... the gas mileage was horrible... but the ride was oh-so-smooth

 

prepped and painted every weld on the frame with krylon rust paint tommrow or nextweek is time to spray fluid film on it

 

Cleaned all of the tires on my temp steelies a little... they're all un-used spares so they gathered a LOT of road grime being under trucks they came off of, so I had to get all that crap off, lol

Then painted the lettering on the one tire that didn't have white letters










Also rocking some new decals now

 

Check the date codes on those tires.
If they're more than 3-4 years old, replace them, even if they don't look bad.

 

I think the standard is 6 years actually.

 

I think the oldest one is 6 if I remember correctly but I will have to check again... may be buying new BFG AT's anyway once the 20"s sell that I took off the truck

so far these things ride great! but they are only temporary

Need new headlights, grille, hood, bumper, and various brackets.

 

Installed MBRP turn down exhaust today. Sounds great!
