Yeah, that's reason enough for me.

I'd be down to explore some of the ranges East of Fallon or somewhere around there. Or definitely down by Arc Dome south end of the Toiyabes. Nothing would make my dick harder.

Started doing all kinds of weird shit when I was in SF. Was engaging/disengaging even when constant torque was being applied. Went through the exercise the owners manual outlined to test it and something's definitely not right.
True to form, I think my bitch of a truck prefers being on jack stands monthly.

Kolt says it sounds like a typical detroit locker. lol
I dont know if thats just how they are, never had one or known anyone that has one but it sounds like it would definitely be annoying if it did that all the time. Maybe suck it up and fork out some more cash  for an ARB?

I don't mind forking out the money (just look at my truck). I was trying to avoid another selectable locker in the rear just because of all the possible points of failure. That said, I may reluctantly up going with an ARB and keep a couple extra line fix kits and an adapter for my CO2 tank just in case. Either way, I talked to Chase at EGCS. He sent me a packing slip already. I'm gonna pull it and send it off (5 gallon bucket) later today and let them check everything out and decide what to do once they give it a once over.

    Sounds like a good plan.
    5 gallon bucket FTW :D;)

Too bad you missed it, there was a brand new Toyota 8.4 ARB for sale in carson a week or two ago for like $500 :(

Yeah Max pointed that out to me.
I just got off the phone with Chase again. If i trade up to the ARB, it's only going to be an additional 450 bucks out of my pocket.

So fucking stupid on so many levels. It's not going to solve a thing.
I'm ashamed to have even considered myself a Californian for so long.

I lived in LA for a number of years and have considered moving back a few times. I've always been able to stop myself from doing so when I think about shit like this.

Anybody wanna buy a Sig? TW gets first shot at this before it goes on Reno4x4.
Sig P226 Elite Stainless chambered in 9mm.
It's got Night Sights and the SRT trigger.
I'm the original owner and there's less than 500 rounds down the pipe.
I swapped out the grips with standard black grips but I still have the rosewood grips. I also have a 20 round extended mag for it, a Blackhawk SERPA holster, the original box and all the crap that came in it.

    $1100 OBO

Gentlemen - do you think $5000 for an extended cab 1984 toyota with 100k miles is worth it? From the exterior the thing is mint, what else should I take a look at?

I got a buddy that just bought a 96 a few weeks back with the 2.7l and 200,000 for $6,000 and we all thought that was high so I would say too much.

Definitely high IMO Matt. My 98 4runner was only $4k, and you can find 1st gen tacoma's for around that price but 10 years newer

Thats even pre-fuel injection. Maybe a little more worth it if it was the EFI SFA '85
