BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Find or buy yourself a set of bed rail clamps. ARE sells them for I think around $100 then go find a 6' cap (or 5' if you have a short bed) you like and stick it on back there.

    Oh, sorry.

Actually, I was toying with the idea to take the factory bed right off and put a Commercial Box on; why bother screwing around with the original box at all, just get rid of it.

Good luck finding something. It can be done and would be awesome. [IMG]

Problem is the weight. Slide-ins are heavy, and top-heavy. Don't see too many on even fullsized half-ton pickups.
The old Toyota "motorhomes" were on the 1-ton HiLux chassis with duallies.

Best option is seriously a hybrid shell with the tent topper that unfolds when parked for camping. You have a full stand-up area, good sized bed, normal cargo capacity when not camping, and the aerodynamics and weight balance of a normal shell.

    HOLY $25,000

Their biggest models are over $40K.

Seems expensive for a bed slide in?

You will want some air bags for that. They help with overall weight and side sway.
