    Junk.

    eBay projectors suck.

With HID, they suck less, but still aren't as good as stock. The projector pattern just doesn't work well.

I would suggest a proper retrofit is the way to go. check out TRS website for all the info you want to know about.

    +1

Aftermarket premade projectors were designed for halogen lamps, but they have an extremely narrow pattern (and a very "ugly" pattern) with a dark spot where they should have a hot spot.

Moose and a couple of others here have done a Morimoto Mini-H1 retrofit into eBay projector housings, and of course, they work as well as they do in any housing, but it is quite an involved process with a lot of trial and error, and some basic machining/fabrication skills are needed.

OTOH, for a completely different look using the OEM housings....

Yes if those are spyder halos then I have those in my black 07 Dcab....installation fairly simple look and fit great but as most halos do there's a line across the road on low beams but brights are pretty bright!!!

Or Retro them. You can also black them out when you are doing the retro. That is my next mod.

I have these on my silver 08 double cab, and love them! I thought the same thing about getting the retro and had a hard time deciding if i'd like them or not. The only thing is i had to change my parking light to white LED to match the smaller ones on the headlight. I can post a picture in the morning

I would have to agree with you there. It's not my thing but some people like them so it's cool.

Nice light. Wish I lived closer, I'd get some first hand advice.

Hardest part is working up the nerve to do it the first time.

I started doing it back in 2005 when I had this:

After the first time it's not too bad. The only hard part is the amount of time you have to get the lens off the housing. Everything after that is easy.
