So I decided to try and build a simple lightbar for the front of my 06 to mount four lights on. I hate buying things that I can build myself. I was just wondering if someone had a picture or could take one of the mounting point of any light bar you have. I'm sure I could figure out how to mount mine but I figured this would be easier. Some threads have pictures already but not of only the mounting point. Thanks

I plan on starting it tomorrow. Friend has a powdercoating booth and oven and if its small enough I can get this to fit :D

    Access cab

Not when I can get material for dirt cheap. I'm not a fan of the looks of most that are available anyway

From what I'm told access cab don't have the threaded inserts in the gutter, so your mounting options are less, drill or clamp to the doors, so you need to decide if your willing to drill holes in your roof or not, that would determine the mounting part of your design

I made a template out of cardboard. Cut out two with a hand plasma. Tacked em together and used a belt sander to clean them up. Then I used a hole saw and a mill to cut the holes and the notches for the tube. Also used a mill to cut the notches. I bent the tube by hand with the help of a rosebud. The tabs were shit and I re-did them later.

No dimensions but I will say I think I'd rather have just made the tube short and straight.

I had four hella 500s and some fucking scumbag low life pieces of trash stole them, they left the mounts and clipped the wires and took off. Fucking CSing bastards. Lock em up best you can.

Perfect. I have access to a plasmacam so I will just used that for mounting plates then connect them to the tube. Not sure how long I want the tube and if I wanna roll it slightly or not.
