So I hit a trailer at a boat launch and I will say "luckily" just hit my fender and not the body. Have some decent scratches and would like to replace the fender. Can someone tell me the exact parts I need? Also, do they come painted? It isn't an insurance issue. I'm sure it would cost more to claim it.

    Can anyone help? :)

I've been looking on eBay. May try and see how much it is at a local repair shop. I'd rather replace it.

Looks like its just the flare, not the fender. Could be wrong just going by your picture

Ya you're right. It is the flare. I forgot to put that. Its the flare on the pass side and the part on the bumper.

I want to keep the stock design. It has to be cheaper to replace that one flare..

What do you have against fixing your damaged one? A professional body shop should charge you no more than $200-300 and you'll be good as new. It's only a scratch on plastic!!

I would have a body shop fix the original flare, since the damage seems minimal. The challange is its going to be impossible to "match the original flare's finish". (if your truck's flares are like most and do not currently match perfectly to the body panel or fender). Most shops should be able to match the truck's finish perfectly when re painting the flare. The problem is now you will have one flare that actually matches the fender perfectly. In order for it to look normal, and actually better the factory, you will need to re paint all the flares of the truck. It seems you are concerned about the looks of your truck, so you will like this. There is a TSB for fender flares not being painted correctly, and I had mine done as soon as I bought the truck. They now match the fenders in both texture and finish perfectly. :D

I just noticed you have a 2011. Maybe you can get the tsb done and they will only charge you for the repair and not the painting?

If its just plastic flare, may be worth learning how to resurface then refinish it, and since its a small piece, you could get a away with using rattle cans. You would also need proper buffer and pads + buffing compounds, so it could end up costing just as much as buying a new one.

Looks too deep to be a simple buff out.
