I agree also so I am going to do the next best thing. a 15D in the middle of 2 6D's. The best part is I will be able to angle the 6D's outward alittle and give a bigger spread and 8210 lumens. Doing the same setup on a buddies cherokee also.

Okay, so I'm planning on getting some of the 15S ones to mount on my swing away, but I'll need to find someone to make some tabs to weld onto my swing away. Can I use the side mounts without the leg part and just bolt it directly to the bar? How far forward would I need the hole of the mount to go and exactly how wide would I need to place the mounts apart? Also what size nuts and bolts do the side mounts on the bars run? Looking at the pictures I'm having a hard time seeing how the side mounts go onto the bars. Does the head of the bolt just slide perfectly in?

Yes you can use the provided bolts to slide them into the side of the light bar and use your own mount. The head of the bolt slides into the light and the threads stick out. You can drill hole into your swing away and use the provided side mounts. Is there is a reason why you want to weld tabs? The 15S uses M10 hardware. You can reference our tube mount kit to get a better idea.

If I remember correctly, the place I want to mount it is a rectangular tube. I rather not have to drill through both sides of that and run the risk of rusting the tube inside out.

M10... do you think a 3/8" diameter bolt's head will work? Or will it be too small? I have a bunch of tamper proof 3/8" nuts.

Sounds like just a 1" piece of angle iron with a hole drilled in it. Actually 1.5 would probably be better. Super simple. Could DIY.

It's really easy man. Mig anyways is pretty strait forward. If you have good steady hands you'll be good at it haha the part that takes practice is setting the wire speed and amperage.
