That shooting star at 2.47 is pretty sick.

 

I'm sure its on this forum somewhere, but my buddy is looking at a 2nd gen 4x4 double cab tacoma. He is a pavement pounder that goes camping once in a while. Is there much difference from '05? He has no problem buying used just wants to know if there is a year that has more options than another or maybe a bad year.

 

The '05's had a motormount issue IIRC , I don't know of any other maladies other than the usual plastic flairs coming off ,any tire bigger than 265's rubbing, etc;...

I have an 05 and havent had any issues yet. I do have ridiculously low miles thought, only 55k. I dont have the bed 115v outlet, which I want, like the other ones. I think they started 06.

 

isn't that trd only?

 

Maybe? I thought they started 06 but I could be wrong. I see everyone with them and now I want one

 

there is a mod to add it somewhere on here.

HA! I was gonna ask if anyone had gone up the hill for some snow wheelin', i think pretty much all the mountains got some, just don't know how much, was thinking about taking a cruise east, maybe even corral canyon, nothing too hard, TDS is alot of fun when wet, I mean you can still fuck up but you'd have to work at it a little, can be pretty challenging in spots. Or maybe they left the CDF 14S02 gates open, they're be snow for sure.....

Meh, all Julian is , is a gate to the dez. that, tourist & apple pie ,which they bake down the hill, go figure ???

Agreed, me and the wife took the Beemer out for a twisty road romp and ended up there and got some pie. Cold as hell but no snow in sight

 

Romp? What were you doing, hitting some whoop sections from oco on the way back up to Julian?
