it depends on how the law is worded, if it's worded so if family is home and you aren't , the guns can remain unlocked until family has left, i wouldn't be against it. (if this is worded confusingly, sorry i'm a little distracted)

and i would like the option to leave them unlocked.
my guns are hanging over my bed and they all have locks on them, i have the keys on my dresser.

oh. idk all the cali laws.

also i want to know who they will find everyone that owns say30 round mags or like 15 round glock mags. i know in TN you do NOT have to register your guns. i know some other states that are the same way. i don’t see how they will find those people and take their guns or mags.

You are completely correct. The anti gun extremist are at it again. Im not surprised.

But instead he was able to blow her away in her sleep. No law is going to be one size fits all. Odds are if the freak couldnt get her guns he would have gotten others some how. Or he would have killed in other ways.

I don't necessarily agree with the law. What if I hide my weapon in an accessible but well hidden spot? Worse what if I come home and before unlocking my guns from the safe my door is kicked in by someone that followed me home? What if I simply forget to pull them out or am just lazy to? I lose my right to defend myself in my own home?

Not here in California. A LTC or CCW is very difficult to impossible to get in most counties.

Being lazy would be ones own fault. We gun owner have a responsibilty to keep our weapons from fallung into the wrong hands. Carry laws should be eliminated as we have a right to bare arms. Whick would fix the lack of weapon when someone follows you home.

this, usually you have to own a business, carry large amounts of cash regularly, or have death threats against you, to get a ccw.

Yes difficult or impossible would be the better way to say it. Impossible for most and difficult for the few in many counties. LA and OC are some of the of the hardest.

Somebody removed my post earlier. I just asked a basic question.
The bottom line here is that your health care system is fucked and buying a gun there is like buying a happy meal.

Bottom line is you are making sweeping and untrue general statements to get a rise outta folks. You aren't contributing to the original purpose of this thread nor to any constructive discussion about any of the ancillary topics.

I'd say the amount you pay in tax and having to wait for services (to the point that people go on medical treatment vacations) is pretty messed up. And I've never needed a background check for a happy meal....
