Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
P0000 No Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) Present.

Try resetting it with the scan tool or the battery and see if one comes back.

Okay I'll try that. What if that doesn't do it?

Why would it have come on in the first place?

Turn your key to accessory till your milage comes up, then turn it off. Push and hold your odomiter button/post thing, while holding it turn key back to accessory. Instead of milege desplayd should have a bunch of dashes that count down till they are gone. hold till they are all gone and milege comes back up. Dealer showed me this. Eng light is supposed to come on every 5k to remind you to get your oil changed. If you take your ride into a shop they are the ones that reset it, thats prob why you have never seen it.

its not a check engine light, there is a maintenance light that comes up when the oil needs to be changed.

Yup your right. I'll try the gas cap. And I'll try the battery thing. Hopefully one will work.

Yeah... "Maint. Required" and "Check Engine" are different. One's annoying, the other is scary.

If the code is 0000, the gas cap isnt gonna do a thing. Is it the maintinance light, or CEL?

It means there is a diagnostic failure. The ECU thinks something is wrong but has not clue what when in fact there maybe nothing wrong.
