I have been mostly on the technical forums, or working in the shop. Dave, the calipers, tie rods, slave cylinder, and master cylinder are all here. I will be getting them put in later this week. Today was tear down my truck time. I have the timing chain and balance shaft chains removed, and am looking for the cause of the noise. Had enough for tonight though, so I am closing up shop and going home.

I think? I rode down with some guys after grabbing coffee on Saturday. We drove way down Shades Crest into Bessemer, then it dead ended, took a right, then a left on a dirt road. Coming back we were down near Montevallo. I have no clue where we were.

There was a slab o' concrete in the river though, with a huge hole on the right side. I got off of the slab over to the left trying to avoid the hole and ended up in deeper water, but no issues. Motored right through. One guy drove into the hole and had to lock F/R/C to get out.

Yes, that's the slab. Either your buddies know the area well, or you're just plain lucky. There are some holes, one which nearly swallowed my K5 Blazer that had 9" Lift and 40" tires.

Should have called me, I'm about a mile from there lol

We setup up wheeling trips here and there, and have a hell of a lot of fun! I'll likely be setting up one in a few weeks or so, when my truck is ready.
