That makes sense if it's more of a trail rig for cost and maintenance. I like the idea and simplicity of the Detroit, I just don't know that I want it on my DD.

I know a few peoe driving around on one with a DD. one wih a jeep wrangler wos tires chirp all the time around corners but he says its due to his short wheel base. Talked to a few people who said the longer wheel base of the runners will be better on road driving. I like the durability that comes with the Detroit.

You willing to do front and rear gears. Found a price of $1,700 at Colorado Axle n Gear. More than i want to spend but really want to get 4:56 or 4:88 in my truck to jump up to 35's.

It depends. Lots of OEM parts I get 50% off on. Aftermarket stuff you'll have to source and ill half labor.

What kind of maintenance is required for an arb locker? Is it expensive or just a PITA?

OK. So that makes sense. What sort of warranty are you running on your labor then?
Might be the shims on the R&P that he keeps adjusting.

There might be someone on here that can hook you up but if not my only suggestion is Micro Center in Aurora.

That sucks. Isn't that one newer?

Yeap but waiting on some more parts to show up to see if it will work. That and I now have a new side door project for the house to finish up before I start projects on the truck. I will let you know when I plan to do something.
