    My air conditioner never stops running...when i have it off i can still feel cold air or heat coming out...it used to not do it but lately it has been..has anyone ever had this problem or know how to fix it?

    My 2011 does this. It's quite annoying.

    Are you sure that it's the air conditioning? Do you hear the fan on? Or could it be just the vents are always open and it's the outside cold air coming in? Did you try to adjust it to the warm setting?

    I have that issue, and I just close the vents and put the setting on upper vents. Works for me, not a major issue. Not as annoying as the click from the fan.

    My 03 does it but its just air coming from outside and its cold when set on cold and hot when set on hot. Its not the a/c running. Consider it fresh air.

    It's induced fresh air draft over a cold or hot evaporator coil. The only thing you can do is close all of your vents.

    my 2011 does this too. I noticed that if I put the temperature dial to the middle, set the output to main vents and feet and make sure it's set to recirculate rather than A/C, I can no longer feel any air coming out of the vents. Then again, it could be because the air coming out is neither being heated nor cooled, so it could just be harder to tell, but I'm fairly sure it's actually off.

    If the A/C is set to off, the compressor cannot run. The cooling or heating effect is the induced draft over the already cold or hot evaporator. It takes awhile for the evaporator coil to absorb the heat from the little bit of air that's being moved over it, so it stays cold for awhile.

    On the 2011, hold the recirc button down for 3-4 seconds & it will keep it from disengaging. Toyota made our 2011 where it automatically controls the temp. I hate it. Every time you start the truck, you have to hold the recirc button down for 3-4 seconds to overide the function. Otherwise the recirc will disengage on its own.
