    Can anybody recommend me a good local mechanic shop?? I need to replace timing belt and water pump plus is good to have a good mechanic I dnt wanna take it to the dealer. Thanks

    I use TinkerToys on the west side of town, the owner, Pat is a good honest guy, use to work at Hoy Fox before him and another mechanic opened this place up. 584-5057
    Or on the east side A-N-W also a former Toyota mechanic that opend his shop up 595-2778

    Wheres the best place to get a good wash? Or even just power wash the mud off from this weekend? The place on Bliss told me I was too muddy!! haha I've almost accepted the fact that I might end up just renting a power washer sometime soon at least just to get the mud from the underbody.

    3 inch body lift, bigger tires, going mild on this one.
    The PX might have a power washer for around $100-150 bucks, I know the BX on Holloman had them. Money well spent.

    However, I'm going to start building my 81 up in Feb (see avatar).

    It's getting a 5 speed to replace the 4 speed, 4:88s, a Marlin Crawler, 37s, etc.

    I'm thinking about camping at the fairgrounds for a night or two.

    There's showers and on one of the nights they have a dinner.

    I mostly go to shoot pictures.
