Clouds act as a blanket keeping it warmer. Clear skies = colder temps

Totally makes sense. So it's not the temperature, so much as what's causing it. Higher barometric pressure the snowloaded clouds away. Pressure drops, temp warms, clouds come in and dump on us. That's what I want to happen tonight.

I've not been before, but everything I've seen says its absolutely gorgeous. I'm going to try and make a trip this summer with the taco. A real overland trip involves a ferry ride lol. So after the summer I'll have some good info. For now talk to jake (jeverich) and coby (uscg2008)

It is beautiful. Scenery is amazing. i can post some pictures of it.

Half the island is wilderness. About 5000 people on the island. Big coast guard base. Bars. Stores. Deer hunting and fishing is pretty big. There is also surfing and hiking. It rains a lot.

Not sure about the cost of living. Im sure it aint cheap though!

Does that answer your question? :)
