Yup clean filter. Tire pressure is good. No codes and nothing on truck. Gonna maybe change the spark plugs soon. See what that does

How many miles do you have on it? You should change your plugs at 30k miles. I did mine at 40k and they weren't too bad. I didn't notice any change in MPG when I did it either. Still good to keep up with maintenance though.

I have 35k on mine now so I think I'll have I change them and see. I was told at dealer to not replace them till 80 or 100k lol. So I wasn't even thinking that. Thanks

That dealership should learn to read their own manuals. The 4 banger doesn't need plugs until around 100k miles because they are iridium. The V6 needs plugs every 30k miles. I stretched mine to 40k because I thought plugs at 30k was ridiculous. The first change, the plugs didn't look bad, but definitely needed replacing. When I changed them again at 80k, they all still looked pretty good and the gap wasn't bad.

Well that's good to know. Thanks for the infor. I didn't know that. Guess I deff will be replacing them very soon. Dealers suck. Rather do it myself if I can do have someone I trust you know.

100k is way to long. Mine had 80k and the gap was .90

I think mine could use a tune up. Need to do my oil, replace my other drive-train fluids, spark-plugs, air filter, and my serpentine belt sounds like shit. I'll probably do it in spring, expect the oil, which needs a change soon. I also need new tires.

Check out parts.camelbacktoyota.com, they sell 'tune up kits' that come with all that crap. I bought one that had air filter, cabin air filter, oil filter, drain plug gasket and then added the plugs. They do have another kit that includes the serpentine belt also.

Thanks I'll check it out. The air filter I could probably clean. It's an AFE Pro Dry. It's about 2-3 years old. Might just buy a new one. I hope the spark plugs aren't too bad. They seem to be buried in most engines these days.

The plugs aren't too bad to change. Take off the intake and the passenger side is a breeze (I'd start with that side), the driver's side takes some cursing and some long extensions (I use both of my 6" extensions and my 3" extension to get the driver's side plugs out). It helps if you remove some of the bracketry on the driver's side, you'll see what I mean when you do it yourself.

Jason, just clean the AFE. It's a lifetime filter, no reason to change it. The plugs are easy to get to on our trucks. One or two have some small brackets in the way just unbolt them, change the plugs and bolt them back on. My second set I changed came out all around .055". New plugs did help gas mileage a little bit.

To all you guys doing plugs make sure that you check the gap on the replacements. All of my factory Toyota Denso plugs were gapped to .045" they should be around .040".

I think i did my plugs at around 40K also and didn't notice a differance in mpg's.
I have a lot of added extra weight and 285's so i don't expect great mileage, plus my commute is 10 miles each way.:) i usually fill up at around 1/4 tank and usually i'm around 200 miles on the trip odo.

I really gotta go down to RI with you guys, that place looks pretty nice!
