I think people Are over reacting about this gun sales thing. Not selling guns will not stop a psychotic person from killing. End of story. If someone wants to mass kill they will find a way to make it happen.

 

CTD has a history of price gouging too. I quit doing business with them.

Dick's sporting goods suspended "certain" rifle sales here on Long Island. My friend wanted to purchase an AR from them and they said they're refusing to sell them. I was going to buy another shotgun from them, now it looks like I'll be taking my money elsewhere.

I too think people over-react. But no matter how you look at it, criminals and anyone wanting to commit crimes will do whatever it takes to get what they need and want.

In my opinion, they should crack down on background checks and stricter firearms sales in the south as well as anywhere else it's just too easy to get your firearms(sorry guys, but you should see how many illegal firearms come from the south and used here in NY).

Sadly, a police officer was recently shot and killed by a savage who purchased his gun from the south.

You've bought into a talking point. Guns are no harder to purchase here than it is anywhere else.

 

I was reading that a group of mom's is starting a group similar to mothers against drunk driving.

What they need to do - those very same moms/dads need to look at their kids and see what they are up to... See if they have "issues" and if so, get them help.

It's not my opinion, it was confirmed from the police department. He had an illegal firearm purchased in the south unregistered.
