2 feet? Dang, man! That's pretty frickin' good.:cool: I'm no where near that with my 64" chevs, 6" shackles and creeper joints... Was that straight up and down travel or articulation?? What shocks were you running?

Which 56s were those? 24 inches of travel is crazy.

Thank you sir. Is there anyway to move the pic from that thread to the solid axle thread?

Are we talking about a rear axle or front axle? I would shoot for as far out on the axle you can get and as straight up and down as you can get. You'll have less options up front because the shocks have to go outside the frame. That's the glory of building all of this stuff yourself, you can optimize everything :)

That would have been articulations i ran 14 inch shocks mounted almost touching in the center of the truck. Key to big flex i found is running a spring that is suposed to be giving you about 3 more inchs of lift than it is but cant cuz your rig is too fat and this produces mass flex the spring pushes down harder and caves like a bitch when one tire take the load of the truck. Oh yeah allpro spring on that love em running expos on my new taco only getting 1.5 inchs of lift out of a 3 inch lift spring.

thats not maxed out either i have at least a few more inchs to go.

That is definitely a D60 front. I'd get it for $750. The rear isn't much better than a Tacoma axle because it's 30 spline. The only thing better is the ring gear size and the fact that it matches the width of the front axle.

Any idea how much a d60 rear normally goes for? Trying to figure out how much the front would actually cost if I got rid of the rear.

Any difference between a 60 out of an f-250 and an f-350?
