where do i add transmission fluid?

    none yet!
    Drained transmision fluid while changing oil. So running 10 quarts of oil and no transmission fluid....its been a long day! Any one got a pic

    If it makes you feel any better, even if you pull the transmission plug and drain until you don't get anymore fluid, you'll only get about 5 quarts out of the tranny and it takes something like 15. There is a lot of fluid still left in the cooler lines and the torque convertor so you weren't running the transmission dry.

    The fill plug is on the passenger side, toward the rear of the transmission. It's something like a 19 or 21 mm fill plug and it's a PITA to get fluid into. You'll need a fluid pump or I ran a hose from the fill plug, up through the engine bay to a funnel so I could fill from there and let gravity do it's thing.

    If you collected all the fluid that drained out and it's clean, then yes, you can just add it back in. If you do a drain and refill or a transmission flush, then you should go through the check process to make sure you're at the correct fluid level.
