Any problems or shudders at 1.75 and 1.5? Does everyone have the driverside spacer? Is it necessary?

nope. not necessary. the "lean" comes from coils, you're not replacing coils. i have them set at 1.75 and like it alot.

I'm running 265/75/16 courser mt with 1.25 inch wheel spacers. With the 5100 set at 1.75 should I go ahead and take spacers off? Think I'll have any issues with rubbing?

Need some advice. 5100s are on the way. But I am building a bumper for my rig next week. Just with tsb in the rear would I be wise to just set 5100 at 2.5" and expect it to come down to around 2 with the bumper. I know I should get eibach springs or ome but gettin married in the spring and the fiancé is still in school so I've gotta make the most out of it! The bumper will be tube mostly but not near as beefy as the big plate bumpers. I assume ballpark 100 lb.

    1.75" up front

It came out nice without doing anything to the rear.

5100's at 1.75, Rear leaf TSB, Moto Metal 951 16x8, BFG TKO2 265/75/16, AFe Stage 2 CAI w/pro dry filter, Kenwood DDX374BT installed with Idatalink Maestro kit, Access Loredo tonneau cover, N-Fab steps, Tinted windows, EGR in channel vent visors, UGA drink coasters in the front cup holders, and a Graco car seat in the back seat
I'm glad I found this thread. I've been on the fence about doing 5100's at .85 and 1.75. I'm thinking I'm about to pull the trigger on the fronts, if the wife doesn't thrash me too hard. I may try to get the tsb done first. Then I can use that as an excuse to get them. :D

I've read different opinions on how much the tsb raises the rear. :notsure: I want to do 1.75 with or w/o it but I don't want it to be nose high.

This may be a dumb question but I know that each setting is approximate, so does that mean that 1.75 means it should give about 1 3/4" of lift? And .85 being just over 3/4"?

I was thinking .85 but just used the floor jack and tape measure and lifted the front of my truck to just over 3/4" using the cross member so the tires still drooped to give the idea and it wasn't really satisfying enough for me. Then raised the front 1 3/4" and liked it. Even with the current tire size 265/70/16. But Still a little concerned that the rear will be too low. So I'm thinking that 1/2"-1" in the rear will be what I want.

Anyway just got to have the wife ok with it. She usually lets me do what I want but she doesn't like the idea of the truck sitting higher. She already complains on how hard it is to get in and I do have the factory step rails. And money is tight with a baby boy and paying for daycare. I was hoping to get some $ for Christmas for mods since nobody will buy that stuff and is rather pricey for gifts. Anyway wish me luck!

Who is DSM and are they the "best" source for the Bilsteins 5100 front, adjustable?

It seems that price is around $110 per front shock plus shipping. Does anyone know who can beat that?

DSM is Downsouth Motorsports, and you will not find anyone that can touch their prices on 5100's.
