If not, would it work on an access cab?

Question-Are your bumps designed to stop your shocks from bottoming out? Do I want my leaf springs in slight negative arch or even flat? If I have my bump stops to the point that they make my leaf springs flat/minor neg arch and my shock have 1" left on travel, is that ideal?

Why waste an inch of travel?

I'll have to keep experimenting then. I don't have an area to fully flex my truck so I'll have to take a trek into the woods sometime. I'm too lazy to do what you do and take everything apart and jack certain things up. Want to see my bump stop extension right now? I guarantee you'll either laugh or be ashamed of me. It's straight hill billy.

Yes, I stacked 3/8" thick metal to extend my bumps  I'm hopefully getting some scrap tubing from Jerry so I can make it a bit neater. Eventually I'll build a better bracket and everything.

Oh, stupid loud you say? I liked the way Brian's sounded at the meet at pcity. Loud, but not enough to annoy.

There's an easier way if you're just trying to see where the pack goes flat....just use a piece of string.

You can get the length of the spring by laying a piece of string along the leaf pack from bolt to bolt. Once you have the length of the spring pack, have one person hold the string at the front spring hanger and stretch the string taunt and hold it to the shackle with the shackle maxed out. The string will make a strait line and you can estimate very accurately where the spring pack is completely flat.

Is there anything you don't know...? I'll have to give that a test.

Wow I finally made it. We lost half our crew somewhere though... lol. I think they got stuck in Chicago. We almost missed our connector. They were closing the door as we ran up...

    Yes.
But I'm very proficient at searching on DR, RDZ, and of course Google.

My google-fu is decent, but not black belt yet. Another question- I'm looking at getting some 12 awg wire in a 50' spool to have in the garage. Looking for some decent wire for running my lights. Any recommendations? Stinger wire keeps popping up and a lot of speaker wire.

Me thinks 12 AWG is a little overkill.
Cheapest speaker wire works just fine. It's just lights.

Well I'll have 11 amps off one set of lights which puts me at 14 gauge if I'm not mistaken but I like to be cautious. I guess I could just buy the 14 since none of my other lights will be heavier than those.
