2007 Tacoma Access V-6 TRD Sport, 2nd Owner, Originally purchased 07/2007 from University Toyota, currently 58, 636 miles

Back in July I noticed my coolant resevoir was low, so I purchased some prediluted Toyota coolant to top it off. I chalked this up to evaporation as I didn't readily see any puddles of coolant. A couple of months go by and the coolant is low again, now I start to worry and do my homework. Last night I get a flashlight and see a small amount of pink crust below the area of the water pump (looking through the grill).

I have two dealers nearby, the original dealer is in town University Toyota (bad reputation) and Dan Cava Toyota (better rep, 30 minute drive). I am hoping to get this repaired under good will warrranty, but I want to know the best way to go about it.

Will a dealership charge to just look at my vehicle and confirm my diagnosis?

Should I ask about goodwill over the phone before I take it in, or wait til after diagnosis?

Which dealership should I go to?

Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks TW!

When did your warranty go up?. 5 year/50K miles?... If so your chances of getting it fixed for free are pretty slim since it's 5 months since and 8600 miles over.
