Hey man, looked at the truck. If you are interested, call Randal "RJ" Jones at 757-488-0881 and initially offer $6000, hard line at $6500.

    Summary:
    -Interior: Clean, no smell
-Tires: Almost bald, Spare is good.
-Engine: Clean, needs new timing belts
-Brakes: Couldnt get good look at front calipers. Fluid is about half way and clear/clean. E-brake cable is loose as hell (even with ebrake on). Basically not working, needs to be adjusted. Lots of surface Rust along the outside/dust sheild of both front and back brakes.
-Rust: Frame is rusted along the bottom edges but not compormised. Rusted cross members are pretty bad but not compromised. Surface rust along other components (rear axel, sway bar, etc...).
Ubolt plate needs to be replaced.
Rear bumpstops need to be replaced.
Rear leaf spring bracket is kaput and will fail insection. Needs to be replaced
    Rear parts found here:http://www.midatlantictoyotaparts.com/parts-catalog/toyota/tundra-parts/2009/base/4-0l-v6-gas/rear-suspension/suspension-components?url=parts-catalog%2Ftoyota%2Ftundra-parts%2F2009%2Fbase%2F4-0l-v6-gas%2Frear-suspension%2Fsuspension-components
-Rear Shocks: One stock Bilstein and one replacement (cheap pos). Recomend Bilstein 5100's :)
-Basic scuffs and scratchs on doors (key marks around key hole). No remote lock/unlock. Some scratch touch up all along the tail gate that was poorly done. Can be easily buffed out by an onsite scratch repair buisness. Also scuff along right tail light that needs to be buffed out (someone scraped along the side of a building. Nothing serious though).
-Other note: Aftermarket tranny cooler mounted on the front

Overall, $8900 listed price is too high. A great bargin if you are willing to do the work. I estimate $2000 + 3 good days of work DIY and ~$3000-5000 for profesional work.

Forgot my camera but here are my phone shots of the worst:

    Tires:

Tale Gate (lots of these scratchs on the gate, here is one)

    Rust

    Exhaust Hanger:

    U-Bolts:

    Rear Frame Brace:
Rear Axel (Ebrake is on yet cable is very loose ! Needs to be fixed pronto):
Rear Leaf Hanger (this probably fail inspection. Its actually bolted to the frame; not part of the frame, and should be easily replaceable: http://www.midatlantictoyotaparts.c...-v6-gas/rear-suspension/suspension-components)

Rear shocks: One is the stock Bilstein, the other is no labeled but def a replacement
    Stock Bilstein:

    Not stock Bilstein:

Agreed, this truck didn't seem like it ever needed the proper TLC it should of been getting.

It is a bit rough, still the worst of it can be replaced. A good project truck that is still ready to be a DD (if you replace those rear spring hangers).

i would agree if this was just one of us. however, this is for someone's son. i wouldnt buy this truck for one of my kids (if i had any) and putting them on the road with this. while it would be great to work on with a son. id' rather get something that i know is solid and dont have to worry bout something like this
