She's looking good man. My buddies 2010 is almost done. We went with the TG axle up front and stock in back (gonna need some wheel spacers which sucks). Hopefully it will be done by the 4th so we can take some videos of it!

that truck had a 3.0 7MGE with 5spd and duals more than enough to snap an axle. so the new 4 door with a blown 3.4 is getting the 60front and 14B rear.

Very nice sir very nice!! Lol can't blame you for that. I don't beat on my truck enough to go full size. More of a trail/sand junky, so my narrow ride works good.

i wanted more power out of the motor and was gonna twin turbo it then i was gonna need bigger axles and i wanted to link the front i thought about all the work and then the wife divorced me so i thought id buy a new truck and start over. since i couldnt sell that one i parted it out and now it's a parts collection for it on the shop floor. super 44 front axle 14B rear 5.7 tbi 4 speed trans and 205 tcase 38 swamper.. just needs about 400 more dollars and i can buy front suspention and get to working on it. problem is my money goes into the new truck first...

One good thing about a rear 60 or 70 is you can get 5.89 and 6.17 gears for them. 5.38's are as low as it gets for a 14 bolt. Then again if you have a high pinion 60 front, you can only go as low as 5.38's anyway.

Good to know a rear 60 is option worth looking at. I guess it will just depend on what's available and what I can find, though it'll probably end up a 14.

As for the t-case output, could you cryo that to give it some more strength? Or is there anybody that sells them in 4340 or something?

No one sells a 4340 input/output for the chain driven t-cases. You can get 300m inputs/outputs for older gear drive cases though. I wouldn't worry about it unless they become a constant problem.

Longfield and marlin make chromo front and rear outputs for toyota gear driven case pre-taco. Not sure if they make it for the taco case.

You'll be fine with the Taco one. Just make sure your driveline is the right length.

I would need alot of gearing for my 22re to spin 44's, hell it'd had a time on 35s. Good ole Toyota tractor engine.

Not true when done right. I have three link front and rear with opposing panhard bars and the thing rides better now than it did when I had leaf springs in the rear and I dont have sway bars yet. Even with 41" tires I can still hit 80 mph easy on the freeways ( not smart mind you given the fact that I could have a blow out), and cruise at 65 70 all day.

Plus it'll climb like a mountain goat when set up correctly.

Do you credit some of the streetability to the opposing track/panhard bars? Or just tuned coil overs with a good dual rate and slider stops.

Both. I had radflow tune the coilovers for me in the rear and when i first built the truck i had Camburg setup the front. Works like a charm. The opposing panhrd bars takes out the funny wobble some people get with just a front three link and rear leaf spring setup when going over dips.

I don't have one in my truck. I've never needed anything over my stock drive train. However my buddy has a four runner with one. I'll try to get pictures of his runner. Took 4 years to build and it is the definition of amazing.
