have safe travels. and idk the area very well. maybe ask some locals when you get here. if no one on here knows.

 

They do regular stuff too. Not just HD. I called and they estimated about $300 to rebuild my leaf packs. That's for adding a leaf plus new bushings etc to get me back to original ride height or higher.

Right now, my rear is sitting low and bottoms out if I haul much over 300 lb in the bed.

 

Anyone in the knoxville area know a shop that could bend the flange coming off of the truck's frame back straight?

Not bend the frame straight, I'm talking about the flange that holds on the aluminum front bumper extension - I got in a fender bender with my avid bar, and it pushed the flange it mounts to back a little bit.

Second question, anyone want to buy my avid bar for $100, assuming it's still straight after the accident? (I believe it is).

 

idk of any shops. and maybe if it is straight. and i can sell my dirt bike.

 

Alright. I'll let you know about whether it's straight, I probably won't take it off and find out until my new bumper gets here, which will probably be early January.

I bet it is though. The bumper is stout, I think its only the mounting point that got bent a little bit.

 

Avid light bar? I'd be intrigued to see some pics...

I got mine with two light tabs on top. I'd also be up for selling the hella 500 FF's that sit on top of them. (Work 100% fine, but I have to go to a 4" light for my new plate bumper.

It's a nice looking bar, good way to mount lights. It's not much beyond shopping cart protection though, but that's true of any brushguard.

I rattle canned mine with rustoleum, it could use a repaint but otherwise is in good shape.

 

Well unless u r just set on getting them to do this or want it done immediately, I would just look at getting some Allpro springs. Much better spring pack then the stock one and not much more money then what u r gonna spend on rebuilding the stock ones.

I just said that cause he has mentioned the bar not being bent but possibly being bent but possibly not, in fact, really being bent at all and actually being perfectly straight BUT when asked previously to see it, he showed u a pic of a perfectly unbend bar on someone else's truck leading me to potientially believe that he may or may not actually want to show it to u ......... got it?
