Watching the pres. talk now. He mentioned that biden helped the last time the assault ban went into effect. Great.

 

I'm glad I picked up a spare lower a couple of weeks ago.

It's a shame people lose focus on the fact that the person decided to kill, not the tool. If the tool is the evil part, then blame cars and alcohol for all of the drunk drivers out there.

I just got 3 new lowers and 2 new uppers in today... Will have 2 complete rifles this weekend I'll have photos of

 

I was wanting a 14.5" middy lighweight upper but BCM was sold out so I folded and bought a 16" mid length monday morning. I got tracking info on tuesday morning! BCM rocks!!

 

Just got my LWRC M6A2 SPR out of layaway today can't wait to get home and try it out! There wasn't a single AR-15 left on the shelf at the largest local gun dealer in my town. They have been selling 100+ guns per day since Monday. It was a madhouse in there today.

 

where the hell you guys get all the $$$? or is it plastic (credit card)

 

I save cash money for my hobbies. I pay with a credit card and pay off at the end of the month, for the points that my card gives me.

I've been waiting for about 3 weeks on PSA for my upper assembly. I know they are swamped, but I'm about to call them to check on the status.

 

I am having the hardest time even talking to someone about ordering an LWRC

i suppose i need to do better with my budgetting and actually sticking to it!!!

 

Give it time, I don't think the end is almost here. They have wanted this forever and they will not stop till they hamstring us to death.

Ive never bought a gun, ammo, or truck mod on credit. they have always been money that I had in the bank.

 

My two handguns and my AR was cash..I learned my lesson when I was younger on how to get yourself balls deep in CC debt, with no money to pay it back.

I have a new gun itch comming on, it will wait untill I have cash to pay for it.

 

yea... I need to get away from my wants.. or put it aside.. but its really hard when current events make things to be like there will be no future .. or its going to be really difficult.

i get out of the mentality "well i should get it now while its cheap and reasonable.. and while i still can... i'll just use my card for now....." or "what if its not on sale again, its a really good deal"

 

I ran into this post on ar15.com about 5 years ago when I bought my Stag. I bought the parts for $8.50 and made my own sling. I bought black nylon instead of grey because it looks cooler. I hope this helps for those buying an AR. I would suggest making it a little longer because you can always adjust it.
