I think I'm close to ordering a set...can't afford the downtime right now to rip it all apart again lol. Show me some more pics! Is there any projector/ballast combo better than the FXR/Morimoto that you've done?

awesome thread and looks to be a cool service! questions for you ambiguous from a fellow retrofitter, have you had any issues with fogging in any of your retros? i feel like the tighter theyre sealed, the more likely they are to fog...i spent a good amount of time sealing them up only to find them fogged and my only solution was to remove the rubber cap off the back so they could breathe...

Interesting... I made sure everything was super tight, because I didn't want them to fog. I have been out of town and haven't had my truck out since I put them on. I am interested to hear what everyone else is doing. I might need to do the same and allow a little air. I will take my truck out tomorrow and see what happens. My truck sits in the garage and it just got a little cooler here, so it should fog up if I have a problem.

The quality of the 2012 TYCs are not up to standards. I wouldn't do another set with them. Problems with the DTRL reflector melting. Yes we found out the hard way on this one.

They do need to breathe. The seal around the headlights should definitely be tight. The rear has 2 openings for air to travel in and out anyway as you probably know. When I seal my lights, I heat a small area with the heat gun then clamp it.
