Well, after finishing Graduate School this weekend I finally had a little time to install my Shrockworks sliders. :) They have been sitting in my basement for well over a month and not being able to install them was absolutely killing me. At any rate, my neighbor helped me with the installation and everything bolted up rather easily. To install these you have to drill three 1/2" holes in each frame rail. I was surprised to find that the metal used in the sliders is thicker than the frame rails (at least it looked much thicker). The packaging was top notch and everything arrived without a hitch. I would recommend these in a second and am very happy with the quality of the product. Sorry in advance for the poor pictures. I will try to post some better pictures up tomorrow. Thumbs up for Shrockworks and to Andy for all of his help!

Ha ha ha. Thanks for the complement. Yeah, I know about the Skoal. I dipped Kodiak for years. I switched to the candy a year back. I almost went with the three tube supports and decided last minute to go with the two support tubes. I don't wheel my rig that hand so to me two just made sense. :) The three tubes do look killer though!

Thanks. These things are stout! They are about 62 pounds each.

Hey Kyle, Thanks, I have had the new bumper in my basement for a while too. I have a Warn winch on order and some synthetic line as well. I already have the IPF lights. This week I am going to order a winch switch from 12 Volt guy and some Delrin rollers from Viking. I am going to put the bumper on as soon as it all comes in. :)

PS - I also still have to install the 3 NST pulleys I bought back in March....

I appreciate the kind words. :) Yeah, the packaging was kinda funny, it was a mix of shredded cardboard, wrapped compression foam, and spray foam, but hey it worked. ;)

I ordered them on 20 February 2009 and received a shipping confirmation on March 25th. I received them a few days after on the 30th, so my wait time was about month and a week. They quoted me 10 weeks and delivered them in 5 so I am happy. Well worth the wait in my opinion. I would have put them on a lot sooner but I simply have not had the time.

It always feels a little weird bolting the beefy rails to the much thinner gauge frame. I see they have not solved the washers binding/bending on the weld bead yet-had the same issue on my Xterra.

I agree 100% - It did feel weird. I was surprised and disappointed to find out how thin the frame metal was. At least the entire assembly will be a little stronger with the new addition.
