Just tag this on the wall..

 

Get a small GoPro camera and place it in an inconspicuous place, and record the activity.... take it to the cops and let them deal with it.

Repaint the wall in a white, oil based, high gloss paint...and do several coats. When it gets tagged, just touch up with a cheap, HF brush. It won't take long before either the tagger gives up or gets caught.

 

Or just use anti graffiti paint and wash it every time rather than constantly repainting...

 

so - i'm from NJ and I like graffiti and such.. i'm a photographer so it works for me because I get to go out late with these dudes and take pictures..

my personal opinion - go on craigslist.. find someone to do a mural on your wall. if you can't beat them join them.. have someone paint a beautiful graffiti piece on your wall. hopefully that would deter any toys. i feel like if you show them you do respect the streets they will respect the walls. in NJ there are rules for tagging and bombing etc... you dont hit certain signs, spots, etc... but who governs that!? no one...

Luckily I didn't have to write "is gay" next to their name. Apparently the city paints over the graffiti around here. Also lucky that it's the same color as the wall.

Still planning on putting motion sensor lights up!
