    A bunch of mods :)
I've wondered the same thing and I guess the dust / dirt color is as good as any reason.

One thing I've noticed in person with some heavy cotton duck pants I used to buy from Cabelas is that you can wear them for several days (like out on the trail) and they do not stink. With regular blue jeans, they take on a BO or sweat smell in a couple of days.

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
So did we finally decide on the official definition of an expo rig?

So... What's people's preferred method of camping on said overland/expo trips? If you haven't been on one, then what would it be in theory. RTT, tent, hammock, trailer, bare spot on the ground with a sleeping bag, etc. I personally prefer a hammock with a rain fly. Those RTT setups look slick though.

Did you not see what the title of the thread is? I think yesterday filled our quota for the year. I like to think of it as just playing a little catchup since the thread started later in the year, we had a few months of BS to catch up on before the year ended.

2012Expedition saved us from a complete shortfall of BS in this thread. Thanks to all others who contributed.

    Now back to the specs/pics.

I have a little REI Half Dome 2+ that works great if I'm solo and I'm packing light. If the weather is good i just throw down the tent footprint and my sleeping bag.

But.......it is soooo easy to get spoiled on the comfort and quick setup of a RTT. If the weather is potentially crappy, I take the RTT because when you show up to your site and its dark and raining I'd much rather have the RTT open and be in my sleeping bag in 60 seconds than still trying to fiddle with a stupid ground tent.

Not sure, I'd say yes. Ive never tried. Long bed, for sure.

I keep a 1" thick piece of foam in it and it folds up with the foam inside, super convenient. The foam keeps to chill from the ground down too. It's pretty damn warm when all closed up and has great screens for when its hot, fine mesh too so the skeeters cant get in. Has a nice rainfly that also covers the entrance like a porch, makes getting dressed and puttin on boots in the rain nice. Cabelas carries them in this size and the double, the double is massive and pretty heavy too.
