These people are just wearing "outdoor clothing" which typically comes in earth tones. It's no differnt if you look at the clothing mountaineers or rock climbers wear. Though mountaineers are known to also like their flourecents... So to answer your question, most of these people are probably wearing this clothing based on its peformance in moisture wicking, sun blocking, insulation and cooling characteristics etc. Polyester is a better choice of material than cotton when spending time out in the elements. There might be some people who dress to look the part, I dunno, but I'm assuming the reasons above are probably closer to the reason. Only my opinion again, no one get upset.

I'm interested in something like that (unless I can finally hit that damn 10-game parlay this Sunday, then an rtt it will be). Thanks, I'll check it out a little closer.

The hammocks look super cool and comfy but I've always worried I'd fall out or eat shit getting in cuz I likes me a "few" cold ones around a campfire.

    Baaaaahahahahahahaaaa

definitely the highlight of 10 useless pages of BS. All instigated by one major tard. Maybe the Douche Canoe is his idea of a perfect expo vehicle...

anyways, to help things get back on track, here's a pic of my woefully inadequate expo rig that i recently traveled 3k miles over fucked up washed out baja dirt in a foreign country for 15 days with my wife and our dog. Maybe someday I'll be kool enuff for Khaki...

dam very nice setup! Not too often do I see the RTT on the cab. Any issues with the weight? I thought Baja Rack said the rack could only support 300-400lbs?

I know what you mean, but they're pretty secure getting in and out. I have a cup holder on the side of mine to hold my beverage while getting in/out. It's just big enough to hold the refill, too. :drunk:

No issues whatsoever. The actual load on the rack is at or below 400 lbs, and given the SOLID construction of the rack, I'd be VERY surprised to see it fail at anywhere near 400lbs.

The Rtt itself probably weighs around 60-70 lbs with bedding inside.
Add myself, 170, and my wife, 110 and we're still under the 400 limit. Plus you have to take into consideration that when set up, the RTT folds open over the side of the truck, using the ladder to support a significant amount of weight, transferring that load to the ground.

The roof structure of the Tacoma is designed to support the weight of the vehicle in the event of a rollover, so regardless of what they claim is their max allowable weight for roof racks, I'd trust it to support me and my wife.

I like your truck. I noticed the led bar in your sig. Is that the spot or flood pattern? If spot, how far does it reach? any night pics?

    Potentially your life.

Mine loves it. Wish we got more chances to go.
