What did you buy your parents for Christmas?

As usually I waited until the last minute to get my parents Christmas gifts. Just trying to get some ideas what everyone else got there mom and dad for the holidays.

 

I went all out this year for my mom and got her a 55" LED 3D HDTV. She really needed a new one and someone had to do it.

 

I could use one too!
Seriously though, that will be awesome for her.

 

A deluxe wooden Scrabble set with lazy Susan. They love Scrabble, and their old set is falling apart.



Pain in the ass to find and not cheap. But really good quality.

 

My dad, my brother, and I got my mom a macbook pro retina. I got my dad some red wings.

 

Dad's getting LL Bean slippers, a set of metal targets, a speed loader and a bottle of rum. Mom's getting some lotion crap she wanted (Aveda), a bottle of perfume that she also wanted and a Vera Bradley bag.

 

That's nice^^^^(scrabble set) . The 55" TV also!

My parents don't live anymore, but I just went to pick my wife up a Vera Bradley purse/bag that I knew she wanted. Without looking at the price tag (it's just a cloth bag, how much could it be?), I though it would be nice to pick up a matching wallet for her also.
Dang, what a surprize when I got to the register $135.00 for a stupid purse and wallet! Next Year I will shop at Walmart.,
Just kidding, she's worth it; I was just a little surprised.

Got my mom a kindle fire and my dad some nice cigars he likes and a bottle of his favorite cologne.

 

Oh yeah, the other thing for dad is doing a bunch fo fix-it projects around his house. He isn't handy, and he doesn't want stuff. And it makes me happy to help in a way that isn't materialistic.

 

Gift cards to their favorite restaurants. Which makes my shopping easy!

 

Wife and I got my parents tickets to an OKC Thunder game. They complain all the time that they've never been, so we though we'd get them something nice.

 

His Mom......We pay for her cell phone (she's on our cell plan) every year. Probably get her some Cloister car wash certificates too.

Nothing, we pick a name out of a hat and buy for one person each.

Bought my sister an Olympus TG 320 camera.

 

got my mom her hand tattooed yesterday thats shes wanted for ever but just hasnt had the spare cash to do so, so i took a day off work and took her to my guy who does mine and he did magic on her and shes in love with it.

no, she doesnt work so she doesnt have to worry about a job blah blah

 

I got both my parents a bunch of small stuff. No one needs anything, and we have no room to put anything else..Makes the holidays/birthdays hard.

 

I got my dad a cheap air horn for his Geo metro

 

Mom is getting candy from Mally's chocolate and dad Jerky and nuts. Mom and dad are also getting a new mailbox, a rubbermaid box with the post cover and 4x4 post. Had to use up lowes gift card.
