October 1st 2012, I paid 26,225.00 before tax, my MSRP was 29,449.00 also got remote start thrown in which they said was a 550.00 value. I bought a MGM DC 4x2 TRD Sport came with floor mats tinted windows and seal protection. The toyo guard is a rip off. I sprayed scotch guard on my seats for 13.00 dollars. Was looking for a 2012 but they sold me 2013 for the same price. Went to five different dealers, and I had them give me quotes which I took to the next dealer. And also I inquired online which i found out helped because the online quotes were better sometimes. I noticed that the salesmen wanted me to feel sorry for them, Said there were loosing there commission. add the remote start to the MSRP and I got almost 3800.00 off MSRP. Got that price up front before i said I had a trade in. They only offered me 4000.00 for 02 Acura RSX but than I went to carmax and they offered me 5000.00 for it. I made toyota match that. Bought it from the the 4th dealer I visted. The 5th dealer i knew the finance manger. And he told me that he was giving me there family price. He lied to me cause the dealer i bought It from was 800 under what he said. I live in Charlotte NC, but bought from Gastonia NC. About forty minutes from me. They were on the outskirts of Charlotte. maybe they gave me that price because i was the only one there that day. I dont know. But if you read this hold forum I think you will see that 3800.00 off MSRP is pretty darn good compared to the rest of the posters.

Got quoted for the following here in Hawaii:

4x2 Double cab, 4.0L V6, PreRunner, TRD sport, non-JBL radio, black tube steps, hood protector

$29,762.73 out the door. All taxes, fees included.

    MSRP here in Hawaii is $31,528.00 + 4.7% sales tax + $359.16 lic fees = $33,368.98

Good deal? Tacomas are the un-official state truck here in Hawaii. Not to mention all the Toyota dealers are owned by 1 company Servco.

I'm currently trying to close a deal for a 2013 4x2 MGM Double Cab TRD Sport w Entune for 31K OTD. I live in South Florida. There is one dealer willing to do that right now and the other one I'm pretty sure will match it since there is only a few trucks like that currently in inventories. I also got a Corolla L yesterday for 17K OTD.

Talked with a Toyota rep the other day about this thread. We read it together. I work at Toyota.

1> THERE ARE A FEW FULL OF SHIT LOW PRICES IN THIS THREAD ( something else to the story)
2> If you paid 100 over invoice... you get a kick ass deal.

Thats about the end of that.

Of course the Toyota Rep is going to tell you everyone is full of shit. If you believe everyone gets a low price then you have been rendered useless as a sales person.

I will tell you in fact that I paid $400 under invoice on my 2012 DCSB OR plus I got the $500 rebate that was offered at the time.

Just bought my first Taco for work. It will be my first truck and my first car with a manual tranny! Very excited. I think I got a fair price. Dealers around here wouldn't go too far below invoice.

2013 Tacoma Regular Cab (5-speed manual), super white
    Options:
    - Sliding rear window
    - Floor mats

    MSRP: $18,640.00
    Invoice (Edmunds): $17,625.00

    Cash Price: $17,245.40
    Sales Tax: $1602.60
    Other state fees, etc: $243.00

    OTD: $19,200.00

When I was searching for pricing on a regular cab, I couldn't find too many posts. Hope this helps other regular cab shoppers. The truck was bought in California.

I've been reading this site for quite a while. What an amazing resource.

My 1994 access cab SR5 with 250,000 miles needs to be replaced. Love the truck, can't say I'm ready but the inspection sticker just ran out...

    I have this offer:

13 TOYOTA TACOMA PK DoubleCab TRD Offroad 4X4
    PYRITE MICA 6CYL 5SPD-AUTO
    Vehicle Selling Price $33,549.00
    Step Tubes D-Cab Short 528.95
    Bed Step 400.00
    - Preferred Customer Discount -2,108.28
    - Rebate: -750.00
    ============
    Sale Price $31,619.67
    Maine Tax Estimate 1,657.78
    Tag/Titie/Reg/Other 34.00
    Administration Fee 399.00
    Theft Protection 387.00
    ============
    Balance Due:{Cash Required} $34,097.45

I asked about the theft protection. Dealers reply:

"The "Theft Protection" is a serial number that is engraved into each panel if glass on our vehicles New & Pre-Owned it carries a separate insurance in the case of theft and can return $5000 up and beyond someone's personal insurance coverage." I'd say no to that.

Would love to hear any thoughts or advice.
    Thank you.

Love this forum and really excited to be a proud new Tacoma owner.

I'll be picking up my new truck on Thursday. I got a silver DCSB, TRD Sport with navi and tow package. Also got the dealer to throw a stripe on the truck and tint the windows (over and above the factory tint). I got the truck for $29,000.00 with a $1,000.00 discount for college grad.

In my particular case, I just ran the guy and the GM into the ground because I had to take my 07 back 3 times after a wreck and I was pissed.

They both looked happier about getting me out of the dealership and off their hands than anything.

My last truck I got a sweet deal on because I had 3 dealerships on conference call in front of another dealer. I guess that is why I'm good at my job in politics.. I'm ruthless.

This seems like a decent deal, with it being a 2WD truck and Florida having such low vehicle taxes.

For about 1-2k more you should be able to get 4x4 though.
