Trucking question for you. How long would it take to make a 550 mile run with a 53' van?

Kansas City to Dallas. Christmas present is coming on a pallet and it got a little delayed. Just asking to see if there is a chance it will make it here tomorrow.

If its on a FedEx or UPS truck it shouldn't be delayed any longer. It was probably delayed because of the weather. They don't call them wiggle waggons for nothing...its dangerous to pull doubles. If its on a over the road trucking company that is being shipped "slow boat" good luck. It's probably sitting at a yard in KC waiting for more freight to come in that is going to Dallas...once the trailer is fully loaded then it rolls out...then...good luck finding a driver that will leave for the holiday weekend...

    Good luck!

It's being shipped by Estes. It could be a double but just assumed it was on a van. All of the hubs it has stopped at so far were pretty brief. Maybe a driver is trying to get home in Dallas and takes the load.

No Estes is a day cab line drivers set up. One driver from KC leaves with your load and at the same time a Dallas driver leaves for KC...half way there they meet up swap trailers and head back to their city. Its probably because of the weather that its been delayed.

You are correct about the weather delaying it. I didn't know that about Estes, thanks for the info.

No problem. I don't want to give you false hopes ...but...your chances are good to get it delivered Friday.

Changed my mind; that chick was beat up. Screw it; I can't find the type of pic I was looking for that won't get me flagged. So pretty much just keep calm and chive on. It will work out.

I made a Twitter account a while back but never got that into it. I feel like Twitter is more for celebrities. Also maybe its because no one from my family is on it...I found it boring.
