There is a lot you don't know about me.

 

I have 6 rounds in my shotgun and the chamber open, with the push of a button It's locked and loaded. As for my pistol, it is locked and loaded 24-7. It's an HK P-30L no mag safety or external safety, its DA/SA and always has a round in the chamber.

Yes it does. My pistol is always with in arms reach. I have spent countless hours with my guns and take care of them religiously. I shoot both strong and weak hand/eye every time I shoot. I also replace parts before they wear out to make sure that the do not malfunction.

Call me paranoid if you want, I've been shot twice by a 9mm pistol (had a vest on, it still hurts!!!) and on the receiving end of a couple drive-by shootings. (did a blind move and ended up in the ghetto.) I carry to protect myself, not cause trouble or commit crimes. I'm often alone for weeks on end and have no dog. The last thing I want to worry about is forgetting to rack a slide during a home invasion or panic situation.

Unfortunately, it's pretty much toast. I think most of the running gear needs replaced, motor's shot, and frame is tweaked. If there was a chance of life left in it, I would've fought to have it fixed instead of totalled.
I loved that fuckin' thing and the memories around it. Road trips with my boy and my dog, wheeling in Oregon, camping with some of you guys & gal (didn't forget you Lisa), countless hours (and beers) of researching and modding and tweaking and breaking and fixing and bleeding and cursing etc, etc. I didn't really want to start all over again...
