    My only suggestion to that would be to spend some time reading through the stickies in the first gen section. There's a lot of inexpensive/free mods you can do to hold you over until you have the $$$ for the bigger purchases.
    Like the old man said, don't be scared to ask questions. This thread is full of people that have forgotten more than I know about these trucks and most the douchebags hang out in the second gen section anyway :cool:

Yeah I've been on here for a few days just searching aimlessly, mostly on this thread, I think I'm gonna buy some mesh and the toyota emblem and work on that for a while and that should hold me back for a little bit, then forget the bull bar and save up for a better bumper. What are they called, pipe/ tube/ plate bumpers?

    lol yes exactly like that! Not sure i like the frame so exposed but it would make it alot easier to build a custom bumper/tube or plate like that and keep the top part on.

    :) You dont have to cut anything though, just remove the bumper and then there are a bunch of small bolts that attach the lower part

    Well that's great to know!!! So i assume the main bolts for the bumper are attached to the upper part? I run a little when i go into the hills, and im so F*cking tires of my lower blinker lights... so i figured it do the corner light blinker mod and take the bottom of bumper off, then have a custom tube/plate bumper made.

    Yes sir, the main bolts hold the steel part on and its just 2 bolts on each frame rail and a bolt on each fender
