Yes, Dep Steel of the CCSD went to visit Dean @ Whodeanies on Sunday. Took my report (case #12-120970) and then got flooded with additional reports. I havent heard anything further from him. We have Dean on PFF publicly admitting to removing parts from customers cars and either selling them or installing them on other cars. By law, that make him the operator of a chop shop. Why he hasnt been arrested is beyond me. Whodeanies is in Canton. 202 N Industrial Way.

    A few bolts are different.
    "Whodeanies", nice name.

It takes a while for law enforcement to build a case against someone before they'll make an arrest. They usually make sure their ducks are in a row with the DA before making the arrest. No sense in arresting someone unless you have substantiated evidence against the person. Otherwise it won't hold up in court.

I work with law enforcement on a regular basis at my job and I build the cases on my end with lots of evidence in an easy to understand format straight to the brass tacks before I'll get them involved. Basically hand it to them on a silver platter. They love making arrests with minimal investigative effort ;).

Usually with the the local authorities it can sometimes take up to 6 months to a year before they make any arrests. The Feds take even longer. Just had someone from the FBI call about a case I worked 2 years ago and he's ready to make a move on the case. Just be patient and stay organized.

I also suggest filing a complaint with the GA Governor's office of consumer Protection (OCP). They have a great team of investigators that are sworn LEO's with minimal caseload compared to most law enforcement agencies and specialize in those types of scams. I worked with them this year on a case and they were a huge help. Go-getters compared to a lot of detectives I've worked with.
