Op you can keep the coilovers at stock height and get some maxtrac spindles and 1.25 wheel spacers, fiberglass

For the rear get the allpro 3 in leaf pack with some kings/fox/saw 2.0 or 2.5 shocks you'll be able to run 33or 35

So I just need to run them up, get some uca's, possibly some spacers and leafs and new shocks in the rear?

I then may wait a lil bit on fenders and the bumper (mainly bc my ol lady will more than likely get pissed with all the mods)...but with the spacers, uca's and rear shocks/leafs alone, should it not give me at least another 2"?

I think to save a lil cheese, I may then run the factory wheels on some larger tires for a little bit...just want to do everything in an order so that I don't have stuff sitting in my garage...

 

You already have a very nice suspension setup for the front, I wouldn't ruin the ride by cranking up the coilovers. If you want that LT look, I'd look into getting lift spindles. They'll allow your front arms and suspension to stay at stock height and stock travel range (and retain the ride quality that you have now), but will give you a good amount of lift as well as space the wheels out further. No need for new UCA's or wheel spacers.

OP, just so it's clear, the reason he can't is because spindle lifts don't work on 4wd models, only Prerunners. Spindles will do everything you're looking for, space the wheels out and lift the front. They will also take a beating off road (especially with those Fox coilovers) and still ride nice on the road.

 

I never understood the bro stance..I mean if you actually look at real tophy trucks (Raceworks and penhall are both in the area) they do NOT look like that, They sit even.

When they are moving, they sag in the rear because the susp is so soft and the weight is shifted to rear on acceleration....so is that it? do ppl try to make their trucks look like they are moving fast like a trophy truck? Becuase when they are standing still, they are balanced.

Just curious, never understood it.

 

heres what i suggest since you just want the looks, keep your coilovers, get some lift spindles (these you can get anywhere from 3-4.5 inches of lift depending on which brand, they will also push your tires out a little bit) add some wheel spacers, front fiberglass, front bumper, and done. maybe get an ADD a leaf for the back and your good to go.

What is your budget?

 

Any ideas on a quality brand of spindles? Also, what kind size tire should I run? 285/70/16 on stock wheels? Then when I get glass, go to aftermarket wheels...?

Just don't want to do anything where it looks stupid in whatever "stage" mod I am in. Like, I wouldn't put fenders on it, drive around with unpainted fenders with no spindles on stock wheels/tires...but that is just me.

 

You are 2wd, DON'T crank the coilovers and instead get lift spindles:

- AP 3" standard leaf pack
- 8.5" extended ubolts
- SS brake lines (24")
- RCD/Bistien 5100 rears

Tires:
285/75/16

I know I could go all out and spend around 7-9k for a full set up (with wheels and tires)....but I'm really not trying to spend more than 5k (that includes some new rubber and wheels)

For $5k you should be able to get a really good setup if you don't get sucked into LT. You seem like you have a plan just don't rush things and take in everyones advice. In the end its your truck though so pick the things that make you smile
