    This. You do have a certain amount of control over how much tax gets taken from your check. You still have to pay the same amount come April 15, but you can choose to have a ton or very little )withheld from your checks. Many people would rather not pay anything along the way and make their tax payments to a private savings account. They make a little interest through the year and then pay Uncle Sam his due in April.

    I do claim 0. Our company is run by family so our accounting and IT are basically figureheads. Regardless of what I claim no one here had taxes taken out of their checks and everyone got checks instead of cash.

    shit I read it wrong. it's not under auto expenses and ez-pass it's under "Christmas gift" so now I know it needs to be taxed. it's not even a gift. It's my GD commission

    Yes, 8 hours to get to Minneapolis, 3 hours back south to the hotel, and another 3 hours this morning. This was probably one of the stupidest thing I've ever done. At one point we had a road block just for us on the interstate to kick us off of it.

    Yes she was very thankful. If we didn't go get here she wouldn't have been home till probably Monday. It was rather stupid of me looking back at it.

    It is normally a 4 hour trip one way. We had 14" of snow Wednesday into Thursday and roads were a nightmare.
