Don't steal my tailgate Mod, Hardwired Valentine1 Radar Detector, Smitty N-FAB Nerf Bars, Led lights (Maps, overhead & rear License Plate), Debadged, TRD rim center covers, Replaced Chrome Grill with OEM Super White, PlastiDipped Toyota Logo on Grill BLACK, Distinct Offroad Custom light bar
So I just put my Trifecta on and I can see light coming in through the corners in the front of the bed by the cab (2012 DC O/R TRD).

Also the very rear side of the cover closest to the tailgate on the drivers door does not seal as well as the passenger side.

Any ideas to keep the bed as waterproof as possible?

    thx

Check out the local hardware store for door weatherstripping. Lots of different types that may work. Might also check the plumbing area for pipe insulation.

May not be able to do a lot with the "Grand Canyon" gap on the tailgate area.

The front on mine is the same way...as for the back there is a nut u can tighten inside the spring handle that will hold the cover down better..also u don't need to use the brackets at all.....

I called them today and they told me to use the ALTERNATE brackets for the Taco - in fact they 'strongly' suggested that I do so. I had it locked into the rail system and it seemed fine to me but the cust svc rep was pretty adamant about using their hardware for mounting it so I did.

Thanks for the info - off to Lowes tomorrow for some weatherstripping. Quick Q - waterproofing the bed - besides a cap - should I look to weatherstrip the tail gate also?

    THX all

Ya I didn't like the look of the brackets when the cover was off....I put 4 washers per side in between the clamp and the t nut on the front clamps...I think some weatherstripping in the front would be fine...
